Purchase your Own Your Eating Habits membership. Use your HSA or FSA card at checkout (if allowed by your plan). If you’d rather pay a few months up front, just email us at hello@katrentas.com.

STEP 2

If needed, print your membership purchase receipt and submit the letter of medical necessity and receipt to your FSA/HSA provider to be reimbursed.

STEP 3

Please note, claim processes vary by health insurance plan so please check with your provider or HR representative.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) let you use pre-tax income for qualifying out-of-pocket health expenses.

If your doctor recommends a weight loss or nutrition program for a specific medical reason (like obesity, heart disease, or high blood pressure), you may be able to use these funds to cover your membership. The IRS allows this in some cases when medically necessary.

What is an HSA or FSA and how can I use it to pay for Own Your Eating Habits?

We can’t guarantee that this membership will qualify under your plan. It’s a good idea to check with your HSA/FSA provider or your doctor before joining or submitting for reimbursement.

If you do choose to pay with HSA/FSA funds, please note that you’re responsible for confirming eligibility, submitting any required documentation, and handling any tax-related issues that may arise.

Should I contact my doctor or HSA, FSA provider first?

Yes! If you’d like to use your expiring funds to cover multiple months, reach out to us before you join. We’ll help you get set up with a multi-month payment. Just double-check your plan details to confirm what’s allowed.

My FSA funds expire soon.
Can I pay for more than one month at a time?

Reach out to us at hello@katrentas.com.
