Okay, it’s unfortunately really easy to do this more than ever in today’s day and age. In fact, if you are not firmly aware […0.5s] of this happening, you will leave your health, optimal body that you want, your well being, your fulfillment on the table […0.4s] for the rest of your life. And I realize you guys, I know this sounds traumatic.I get it, but y’all know I don’t tell you things like this unless they are true, and unless I have evidence of it in my past decade of coaching women, right? I always want you guys to know what to expect.So for those of you who might not know me too well yet, I have been coaching women on changing their health behaviors for that time. And I’ve gotten to see case study after case study of helping different women from around the world to the results they want, right? Not leaving any well being or happiness or desired health results on the table.And the thing is, even though you’re here with me listening to this episode and you have the intent […0.5s] to be your healthiest, self, it is not that simple, unfortunately, because you have a human brain that will want to resist change and settle for less than it is what our brains are designed to do.We have a herd mentality that doesn’t want to separate ourselves from the crowd, that doesn’t want to expend more energy than it’s necessary.And this is really problematic for those of us who want more than average. You will have a brain that wants to maintain the status quo and relate to the herd of humans who settle for average, who accept that life.And the reality is there’s nothing wrong with accepting average, no shame. Uh, most humans do settle for okay in their lives, their bodies, their health, okay okay and maybe that is not you.I’m betting that this is not what you want, because what tends to happen is you are me, and I am you. And maybe you’re not where you wanna be right now. And you might always have this in the back of your mind.I have that part of me too, this awareness that you are meant for so much more. And I wanna tell you guys, not everybody has that. This is a really special quality, and it sounds so cheesy, […0.5s] right? But it’s a quality that exists in women I coach.I have this, and I’m betting you do too. Because what it really is, it’s nothing fluffy. It’s just the unwillingness to settle for less than what, you know, is available to you in your life. Not from a performance angle, although this can come up where […0.6s] we feel pressure to change. But what I’m referring to here is from the fulfillment you want in your body and your life.So today I want to talk about what it will look like to settle for less with your health. Because if there’s anything I want to shout from the rooftops, you guys, it’s a lot of things. But one of those things is gonna be […0.6s] this discussion I have with you today.Because the biggest tragedy in my mind is watching a woman who is so deserving of the body health and happiness she wants. And she leaves it all on the table because she wasn’t taught […0.5s] how to work with her human brain and claim it.So right now, I want you to let yourself […0.5s] establish the results you want with your well being. And I know that sounds so broad, right? But let’s narrow it together. Let yourself establish […0.5s] the version of your body […0.6s] that you want. Okay, do that right now.Does it look like you with more strength, more athletic ability, increased fitness, more toning, more […0.4s] comfortability in your body? What experience of your physical body do you want in your life?Do you want to not have to think about your body? Do you want to feel light and free and confident in your body? Do you want to feel attractive in your body? How do you want to live in this home that we call your body?Okay, establish what it is you want here. And if you’d like, take a moment and write this down, put it somewhere, and let’s make it real together today, cause we’re not playing around anymore. We’re not gonna settle for less than exactly what you want right now.Next area, what about food, right, this is my bread and butter. I teach you guys a lot about this.What experience of fulfillment do you want with your eating habits? Do you want to enjoy food more luxuriously and deeply? Do you want to feel more in control of it, more disciplined in a way that doesn’t exhaust you? Do you want healthy eating to feel more like it identifies with you, so it feels easy and natural?Determine what it is you want […0.4s] with your food relationship and your eating habits, and what about overall well being, right? Do you want to feel less overwhelmed mentally?Do you wanna feel more internally confident and together do you want to have bad days, not feel so bad, and the good days to feel more good. Maybe you want to feel less anxious, depressed, or just met.Right, I, kind about it, like, you see the static on the television, like that sometimes, how life can feel.Maybe you wanna get out of that feeling like you’re living a flatline experience of your life, and you want life to just feel more optimal and exciting and heightened.So I know this can you guys, I said this to Taylor, my husband too. Whenever I talk about some of these topics, I realize, you guys, it sounds like an infomercial, and it can sound like word salad, which I like to call it.But […0.4s] why I’m walking you through these questions? It’s very […0.4s] strategic and intentional, because I want you to put shape to the existence. You want with yourself and your own body, because this is necessary.You guys, this is why you do not have these results, because you haven’t let yourself declare exactly and specifically what it is you want.Our body and internal well being is the lens that will determine how we approach the rest of our lives. It’s why with my clients, when they solve these areas, everything in their life changes. And it’s not because it puts us into sunshine unicorn land once we change our health.It’s just because it’s not because I’m a wizard, or because they’re unicorns, or because you will need to work magic. It’s because our experience of our human brain and body determines how we show up everywhere else. It’s why I’ll watch my ladies excel in their careers massively or improve their relationships, maybe find new relationships, find a circle of friends, or begin a new hobby, change their parenting, etc, The purpose of this right now is to put shape to the body and well being you want, so you have a chance to claim it. You might have resistance to doing this right now with me, and I get it. You might just be listening passively and say, yeah, cat, that sounds cute, that sounds fun.And then you’re gonna go right on to the next podcast. I get you and what I wanna offer you right now while you’re still listening to this episode is the resistance you feel to firmly doing this […0.4s] for yourself in a way that is real to you. Putting clear shape to the life and the body that you want.Because what can happen is this is very human and primitive is you’re probably trying to protect yourself from the feelings of not having created it. You don’t wanna feel disappointed you, don’t wanna feel doubt that you could create it. You don’t wanna feel shame in having not created it. And I get it.You can’t feel like a failure or have doubt and shame when you pretend you do not care about making this change, but you do. I know you do. You want this. And what I want to offer you is to have the courage, which I know you do, to admit that to yourself.It’s the very first step, but not in a desperate way where we feel helpless, but in a way where you declare firmly, this is what I want in my life. Because my friend, once you declare it now, you can create it. There is nothing holding you back.This is the first step for every person. So you listening right now.I want you to do this, and then comes the fun part, because I want you to notice the objections or thoughts you might have when observing this version of you that you want to step into. Cause all the thoughts are gonna come up. This means you’re human and your brain is working properly.What thoughts or objections do you notice when you declare all these things? These are the reason, […0.5s] because here’s what I want you to know. This is very, crucial.These are all of the reasons your brain has already come up with for why you will fail, why you will not create it. And here’s what’s fascinating. These reasons your brain has come up with will be why you will fail if you don’t have this awareness right now.So don’t resist all of the thoughts that come up when you […0.5s] declare the things you want.So exactly, because they’re just gonna end up being the reasons why you don’t do it. And now we get to have eyes on them. In other words, let’s say you have the very expected […0.5s] objection. I don’t have time for this right now.This is gonna take a lot of time, which is a very, go to excuse your brain might offer you. My brain does sometimes too. So then here’s what’s gonna happen with this filter on your life, this perspective your brain holds onto, watch yourself come up with evidence in your future that this is true.So each day you will speak this way, like, always running out of time. You’ll never prioritize time for the changes you wanna make. And this version of yourself, you’ll continue indulging this overwhelm because of the story that you don’t have time, and watch yourself never make time for it.So the reason for not prioritizing this now, and that […0.5s] thought you have when looking at these changes you wanna make is gonna be the reason why you ultimately fail. Your objection to the transformation you want now will be the reason you ultimately do not create it.And why this is a hack, kind because you can see why, you will fail at this ahead of time.It is the best, it is the closest thing we can get to a crystal ball in this area of your life. And it shouldn’t surprise you. If you’re willing to really do this awareness, what you will be able to see with.This is the exact reason […0.5s] why you will settle for less with your health. Or, and this is big the reason why you are settling for less right […0.5s] now.I have settled for less we all have, especially as women, and this is not our fault. It is a societal, um, and programming that we fall into and we are exposed to.But […0.4s] I want you to understand the severity of this, not in this pressuring way, but in a really mature, calm, […0.5s] intentional way […0.4s] where these reasons are why we settle.So in this, […0.6s] in the same scenario, let’s say, if you have the thought I don’t have time for this right now, that’s almost certainly the excuse you have now that’s causing you to settle for less with your health, well being, body, etc. And you guys, I had all the excuses.So I’m right there in the arena with you. I promise I call myself out on this regularly because I too have a human brain. I’m doing all the same work as you guys. In fact, um, really intense right now when we meet together in Amelia Island for those 10 of you who will be in that room.There are parts of our coaching where I will do the work with you guys, which is gonna be really fun. So you guys get to use me as a case study as well.I think that’s something that’s always super, helpful. And it’s important you guys know that the purpose of all of this isn’t to fix you as a human as if you’re not perfectly capable of making these changes now. It’s to help you work with your human brain that is the skill, right?So then we get to the question. Who will you have to be? What will you have to do? How courageous will you have to be to not let any […0.6s] objection or excuse keep you from the well being you want, right?Who will you have to be to not let the excuses of your brain […0.4s] keep you playing small? Will you claim the results you won? Will you decide to be willing to risk failing?Because the reality is, you guys, there isn’t a version of creating this result where you won’t risk failure, but your version of failure is likely very dramatic. It’s you thinking I am a failure, or you shame yourself if you don’t succeed.So that’s what I like to call doom and gloom failure. What failure actually is, you guys, it’s just trial and error. So in my process of coaching a big thing, I help you solidify, which is so important is a different version of failure. It’s treating failure less like a period at the end of a sentence and […0.5s] more like a dot, that provides you data […0.4s] to keep going more efficiently.So what I mean by this is that you can indefinitely fail. It’s not a thing. There’s no such thing as failure period at the end, you’re done. You don’t have to be afraid of it. What I can guarantee if, example, if you join this mastermind, right, is that you’re gonna fail a lot.I can guarantee the big point of that room is you are going to fail a lot to get to this massive change that’s gonna happen for you, which cause each time you fail, that is how you’re gonna become someone different. Diamonds aren’t made without that shaping or however this analogy goes right.But what’s gonna happen is you’re gonna develop a very mature capacity to treat failure as a scientist, not as a victim of it.Does that make sense? This is where, if you can mature to this place and grow into this relationship with failure, nothing can prevent you from getting this fulfillment and this well being that you want.So the real question I have for you today is what are you gonna do with this information, right? Are you gonna receive it and then put it on the shelf where all of our knowledge and intellect and information we gather doesn’t produce results?Or are you gonna take this and establish that you have a goal right now for yourself and your well being? You have objections that will keep you settling for less. And you have the option right now to not accept those and to claim the results you want despite them.So it’s your move, my friend. That is all I’m gonna say, but I digress. This is definitely a soapbox, episode, but it is because after all of my time coaching women, coaching you guys, I know exactly what is possible for you.
